Sports Day

On Tuesday we had a very enjoyable Sports Day with KS1 and Reception in the morning and KS2 in the afternoon.

Have a look at the photos below.

Nursery Family Learning Day

A huge thank you to everyone who attended the Nursery Family Day. The children and the adults had lots of fun doing food themed activities. They made a fruit kebab and created their own unique jigsaw piece which will be joined together with all the others to make an impressive jigsaw to be displayed in Nursery. They played the teapot game, played vegetable bingo, did food jigsaws and read food books before sitting and enjoying eating their own created fruit kebab.
The fun didn’t stop there – they designed and decorated their own biscuit, did a still drawing of fruit and made food items from play-dough.
A reminder to everyone to create your home challenge – an animal at home using only fruit and or vegetables and to do your food picture quiz, there are prizes at stake. We look forward to seeing your creations when you bring them into school on 22nd March!

Reception get building!

We built a den and the children chose waterproof material for the roof as it was raining. It kept us nice and dry!

We built a pirate ship using crates, materials, wooden blocks and large reels. The children picked different material to represent seaweed and water. We used large reels that were the port holes in the ship and we even had a plank!

Bradford city penalty shoot out for charity!

Yesterday, the whole school had a penalty shoot out outside of the dining room. The penalty shootout was lead by Bradford City F.C and we managed to raise lots of money for charity and school.People who tried to raise money got to take four penalty’s against the chicken Billy Bantam from Bradford city and people who didn’t raise any money still got a chance to take a penalty at the end of the shootout. At the end of the shoot out of course no-one wanted to be left out so the teachers had a shot at Billy Bantam too! if you are wondering if you raise at least £3 you will get a medal and if you raise £20 or over you will get your a self a Bradford city football and maybe a medal! But the best… if you raise the most money out of the whole shootout you will get a unique Bradford City F.C football signed by Bradford city footballers!thnk you for putting in the effort to raise money and we are very grateful for your conturbiton to our fund today. The charity’s and our school are very delighted with all the money raised today and soon we may edit this post to tell you the grand total of money raised yesterday! We are all looking forward till we get our prizes.
