Happy Birthday Queen Elizabeth II

Over the half-term holiday, children were invited to create their own Crazy Crown to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.  They were also invited to make a birthday card too!

The winning entries were judged by some of our School Councillors and received their certificates in assembly.  Have a look at their fantastic designs below!

Nursery Family Learning Day

A huge thank you to everyone who attended the Nursery Family Day. The children and the adults had lots of fun doing food themed activities. They made a fruit kebab and created their own unique jigsaw piece which will be joined together with all the others to make an impressive jigsaw to be displayed in Nursery. They played the teapot game, played vegetable bingo, did food jigsaws and read food books before sitting and enjoying eating their own created fruit kebab.
The fun didn’t stop there – they designed and decorated their own biscuit, did a still drawing of fruit and made food items from play-dough.
A reminder to everyone to create your home challenge – an animal at home using only fruit and or vegetables and to do your food picture quiz, there are prizes at stake. We look forward to seeing your creations when you bring them into school on 22nd March!

Reception in the snow

Reception took advantage of the snowy weather to get kitted out in their waterproofs and go sledging. For some of us it was our first time sledging and we found it tricky to get on the sledge!

We also managed to use the iPad and take some photos of our friends as well as Miss Gill and Miss Dolecki having a sledging race down the hill. Miss Dolecki won! We had lots of fun and a fantastic time.
