Where is the most extreme place you have ever read a book? Whether it is up a tree, on top of a mountain or stood on your head, we want your photos!
To kick start World Book Day 2017 we are holding an Extreme Reading Challenge. You are encouraged to think as creatively as possible and ask a parent to photograph you in the most unusual, extreme (but safe) places reading a book!
You can email your extreme reading photographs to extremereadstjohnsceprimary.co.uk or hand them into your class teacher. Please make sure you include your full name and year group.
Prizes will be awarded to each year group for children with the most imaginative and creative reading places. Closing date for entries is Wednesday 1st March.
We look forward to seeing your entries!
The second round of the Basketball league took place on Thursday 2nd February. After some very entertaining basketball being played, St John’s won three out of their five games. This gave them an impressive record throughout the tournament. All the schools that attended played some fantastic end to end basketball resulting in some very competitive matches. Well done to the squad that represented St John’s C E Primary School.
